About

Nick Wooten is a nationally recognized trial attorney with a deep commitment to justice and consumer protection. With more than 100 jury trials to his name, Nick brings decades of courtroom experience and strategic insight to Cheeley Law Group. His mission is to pursue justice for individuals and families harmed by catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and dangerous products.

Nick co-leads a national class action with Bob Cheeley in the Northern District of Illinois over defective crash-avoidance systems in commercial trucks (Bendix Fusion and Bendix Wingman FCA), helping advance roadway safety reforms nationwide.

A thought leader in the legal community, Nick frequently trains attorneys around the country and has provided CLE instruction on consumer litigation and financial services law.

He has also advised institutional investors, hedge funds, and bankruptcy trustees, bringing a unique financial acumen to high-stakes litigation. His practice reflects a powerful combination of courtroom experience, national reputation, and a mission-driven focus on justice and reform.

Nick holds an LL.M. in International Taxation and Financial Services, graduating summa cum laude while balancing a solo practice and single fatherhood. He also holds multiple financial credentials, which enhance his ability to litigate complex financial and commercial cases.
