In her first year of practice, she gained experience not only in plaintiffs litigation at Cheeley Law Group but also in corporate law while working with Butler Mersereau. This diverse background gives her a unique perspective and the versatility to approach complex legal matters with clarity and confidence.
During law school, McKenzie externed with the Georgia Court of Appeals under the Honorable Judge Gobeil, where she sharpened her legal writing and analytical skills and developed a strong foundation in appellate court procedure. She also worked as a part-time intern and summer associate at Cheeley law Group.
McKenzie has over a decade of experience performing on stage, and brings that same creativity, poise, and clear communication to every case she handles.
She was raised in Johns Creek, Georgia, and now lives in Brookhaven with her husband and their beagle, Honey. When she’s not working, McKenzie enjoys Pure Barre, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a proud supporter of the Beagle Freedom Project.
