Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida, Kam served in the 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Stryker Brigade, 5/20th Infantry Regiment (Scout-Sniper Platoon) during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing four years of honorable service, he pursued his next mission—commercial diving—graduating at the top of his class from The Ocean Corporation in Houston, Texas. Though a service-related medical condition ended that dream, Kam’s resilient spirit led him to new pursuits.
Kam earned his associate degree from Southern Union State Community College and went on to attend Auburn University, studying marketing and business management.
He later served as General Manager of Earth’s Creation Furniture before launching his own company, Three Suns Furniture Inc., where he served as COO and co-founder until the COVID-19 pandemic forced its closure.
After leading regional sales growth at tech startup InsureScan, Kam spent time living in Tamarindo, Costa Rica—until a call from longtime friend and Cheeley Law Group Managing Attorney Nick Wooten led him back to the States. Inspired by the firm’s mission and energy, Kam made the leap, trading beach life for courtroom strategy and operations support in Alpharetta.
